Hi just wanted to let you know.....and say thanks!!!
I wanted to thank you so much for the help with school supplies. Both my son's love their bookbags. The little one takes it everywhere even to his daddy's house...lol....I wanted to also say thanks for the information about the food bank.....thankful to friends and family I didn't need your services this time but at least if I know I need it again it is there especially with the holidays coming they are always hard. But I wanted to write and personally thank you guys for everything you have done for me and my kids.
On August 12th I went to Touch, NJ Food Pantry for food assistance. I had lost my job and with 2 adults and 3 children I needed assistance. I found it very hard to ask for help as my husband and I have worked very hard over the years to live comfortably. His hours have been cut in half and my company laid off 25 employees. I was referred to the food pantry in Mt Ephraim by Contact 211. I was embarassed to walk through their doors but was met by a worker who treated me with respect, understanding and dignity. The pantry had already closed but the woman there didn't turn me away she welcomed me and handed me an application to fill out. I not only walked out with some food but also information as to where I could go for help and my dignity. She also gave me her card and said to call if I needed any other assistance. I am interviewing daily for a new job but I wanted to say thank you to the Food Pantry in Mt Ephraim for being there for my family and I'm sure others when we are in need. I hope I never have to go there again but I know that help is available if I need it.

I am familiar with the food pantry in Mt Ephraim. The people who run it are understanding, caring, compassionate and nonjudgemental. They helped me when I was down and out and was ready to end it all. They were there when I cried and when I was angry with the world. I am now back on my feet and it is because of the people who cared and didn't turn their back on me like so many of the county agencies do. Thank You to the leadership and volunteers of Touch New Jersey

Thank you for helping my family out at Christmas. It was appreciated. Bless you and all of your staff.

Thank you so much for the wonderful shoes. They both fit like a dream and are so comfortable. The will get a lot of use, I very much appreciate your help.
Angel's In Mt Ephraim

I would like to tell everyone of a group of angels in Mt Ephraim. On Thursday evening July 10th. I went to a local food pantry for help. Before everyone starts about get a job..etc..let me tell my story. I am 51 years old and worked for the same company 20 years. I went into work one morning and there was a company meeting and we were told that the business was closing and we would be paid for 2 weeks. I always made a good living and the lose of the job has set me back. Getting back to my Rave I went to the food pantry as I was out of food and was met by a group of angels. I was treated with respect, not judged, and given not just food assistant but help with resources to help me get through my problem. I wish I could remember all the names of the people I meet there but I can't. The volunteers were very polite and helped me as I received my food. The first volunteer at the food table gave me an extra can of juice another one gave me an extra bag of beans. I know the people there probably get no thanks for what they do so I wanted to say thank you in a public forum and hope that others know there is a place to go in Mt Ephraim for help. Thank You Touch New Jersey food pantry and all the kind volunteers. I wish I had the resources to give you money to help your cause.

I have to send a Rave out to a very special group of people. On July 1st and being out of work(laid off after 15 years at the same company) I needed food and had no money to purchase it. I went to a local food pantry for food. I needed to feed my kids my husband had walked out on me and took all the money we had left. I thought it would be a nightmare of a visit but it was not. I was met at the door by a volunteer. She sat down with me helped me fill out my application and talked to me about the options and resources that were available. She gave me information on how to get help with my electric and what I needed to apply for food stamps and other resources until I got on my feet again. I wanted to say thank you to her and all the volunteers at Touch New Jersey Food Pantry in Mt Ephraim. I was treated with respect and understanding and they didn't judge me or degrade me for asking for help. They made sure we had enough food and even gave us some extra. My son asked for cookies and they had none on the table and she went in the back room and came out with a package of chocolate chip cookies. Its nice to know that there are still nice people out there and people who really care about others. Thank you again.

Deb, Just wanted to say thank you so very much for the Christmas help and the Dinner . My kids were sooooooooo happy with their gifts ,thank you so very much . Happy Holidays to you !!!!!
Thank you for your kindness and understanding, without your patience and assistance I don't know what would of happened to me and my son. The food pantry has been a prayer answered. Its hard to explain to a child why there is no food in the house. You answered all my questions and treated me with respect. Thank you for the Christmas presents for my son as there was going to be no Christmas this year. We also enjoyed our pancakes with Santa. I wanted to say Happy 2008 to you and Debbie and all the volunteers and thanks for being there for those in need.
